The month of October has become synonymous with Breast Cancer Awareness, as women and across the world join together to increase awareness, give support and raise funds to find a cure for this disease.
Each year
Brides Against Breast Cancer contributes $2 million dollars to help people impacted by breast cancer. The "National Tour of Gowns" bridal shows are held around the county and sells all brands of new designer and “gently worn” wedding gowns in all shapes and styles.
The Brides Against Breast Cancer (BABC) Charity Wedding Gown Sale was held this past weekend at the
Atlanta Marriott Northwest at Galleria. Show manager Katie Posivak and her team of professionals were warm and welcoming to the brides who attended the two-day event.
As the brides entered the ballroom they were immediately welcomed by warm smiles from the
BABC volunteers and a host of wedding vendors from the Metro Atlanta area. Jennelle Evans, catering sales manager of the Marriott was not only friendly but very knowledgeable and helpful as she gave my assistant and I a quick tour of the hotel. Its no wonder the BABC has chosen this venue for two years to host this event.
Here are some of the lovely gowns and brides...

In addition to the gorgeous gowns, brides had an opportunity to meet some terrific wedding vendors who also support the Brides Against Breast Cancer organization.

Brides Against Breast Cancer provides free education, information and outreach to thousands of women and families that have been impacted by breast cancer. Over 30 brides found their dream dress over the weekend. What a great way for brides to make their dreams come true and give to a worthy cause! If you know a bride who is still looking for their wedding dress, be sure to tell them about the National Tour of Gowns. The tour is scheduled to make multiple appearances all across the county, so check out the
BABC website for a city near you!
