For the month of October S.N.O.B.B. is dedicating special posts to Breast Cancer Awareness, highlighting brands that are committed to supporting non-profit organizations that operate to find a cure for breast cancer and those that provide support to women who have been diagnosed.
Our first brand spotlight is DermaFlash, an at-home device that simultaneously exfoliates and removes pesky peach fuzz. Results are immediate, smooth, radiant camera ready skin that is instantly revealed.
DermaFlash's founder Dana Levy was touched personally from breast cancer as her mother is a survivor. Say's Dana "...my mom had breast cancer many years ago, and thankfully was treated and cured. Unfortunately many people have had a less positive outcome. I feel blessed to have her here and healthy and am hopeful that one day there will be a cure for this disease."
DermaFlash is supporting the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation. Who are they? Let's find out!
The Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation (LSCRF) is one of the nation's leading breast cancer research and education charities. It was founded in 1985 in memory of Lynn Sage, a Chicago-area woman who endured a six-year struggle with breast cancer before she died at the age of 39. Our mission is to support the understanding, research and treatment of breast cancer in partnership with Chicago's Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University.
What a great organization to support huh? During the month of October, a percentage of all DermaFlash device sales will be donated to LSCRF to help support cancer research. What I love most is that a special edition PINK device will be available for a limited time only during the month of October.
So how does DermaFlash work? DermaFlash is a non-invasive at home exfoliating device, inspired by both the in spa dermaplaning facial and the majesty of the hummingbird. The subtle sonic vibration gently mimics the flutter and vibration of the hummingbird's wings. By using the 3-step system of Prep-Edge-Smooth, you will remove debris and dead skin as well as peach fuzz immediately, giving you an instant glow.
DermaFlash is a great at-home treatment for brides preparing for their wedding day, especially if you can't make regular trips to the dermatologist, and it would be a great gift for all your bridesmaids as well.
DermaFlash is one way to give your skin a fresh new look and give back to the fight against breast cancer. Stay tuned to S.N.O.B.B. for more amazing brands and non-profits that support breast cancer. Check with your local breast cancer awareness organizations to support walk and other fundraisers in the community.
With Love,
Samala
P.S. Be sure to tell all your friends we are looking to feature current and past brides who have survived breast cancer. We want to share their story and spread some love!
